Preventing comment spam in MT

Great tips on how to make comment spammers dirty work a whole lot harder. Requires very little effort.

Recently I have started receiving more and more spam in my blog comments. This is a common problem:

I am definitely going to implement some of these tips. Right now I am eagerly awaiting next release of MT though. Don't want to invest too much time in the older version of MT. Hopefully some of these tips have been included by Six Apart in the new version.
